# Contact smry

For support with the public reader, extraction failures, the Agent Skill,
OpenAPI, MCP setup, account keys, privacy, or responsible disclosure, contact
smry at michael@smry.ai. Include the public source URL, the HTTP status, and the
`X-Smry-Error` code when reporting a reader problem. Do not email API keys,
cookies, subscriber credentials, private source documents, or other secrets.

Before reporting a hard-paywall result, verify that the publisher actually
sends the article body to signed-out visitors. smry cannot retrieve material a
source keeps behind server-side authentication. For transient 429 or 503
responses, include the `Retry-After` value and whether the source was already
cached. This information is enough to investigate without retaining the
article body or the caller's identity.
